This one was a long time coming. My first convention of 2020 will also be my first visit to my hometown since 2012. Everything I’ve done with Carter Comics since I began exhibiting at conventions in 2010 started on the island of Oahu where I was born and raised from 1980-2005. In 1988 at eight years old, I wrote and illustrated my first ten comics I stapled from construction paper, and I’ve never looked back.
All nostalgia aside, I will have my Damn Tourists trade and new fifth issue for sale, as well as some original comic artwork. I hope to see alot of my friends from early school days as well as family there, whether we meet again at the con or not.
